  • Proprietors of a general purpose software platform that we license and use to build robotics and automation applications for customers.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in build/release and configuration management

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in compiling complex software for both Windows and Linux environments, Microsoft stack and J2EE Visual Studio and Eclipse IDEs.
  • Proficiency in Cruise Control, Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Hudson or similar automated build tools.
  • Proficient with source code management systems (GIT, bitbucket, SVN, Plastic)
  • Experience with generating installation and patch packages for a software product
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to motivate and drive other team members.
  • Ability to work closely with the software development team and own the build/release process.
  • Development experience in some or all of the following:  C/C++, C#, Java, Python, HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET, SQL
  • Experience working with Agile bug/feature/task/test tracking tools such as Jira, Redmine, TestLink
  • Working knowledge of relational database management system (DBMS)
  • Team player with the ability to work in a faced-paced, multi-disciplined, Agile based environment. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain existing and new software builds for a variety of software projects in a number of different environments, and for multiple product lines
  • Prepare build notes and related documentation for various stakeholders
  • Maintain and architect new source control repositories including repository organization, dependency management, and expanding on basic functionality such as tagging and branching as needed
  • Maintain company feature and bug tracking systems including expanding on basic functionality and workflow as needed.
  • Software Development and scripting for tools integration and process automation
  • Assist development teams with development environment configuration and maintenance
  • Perform SW Integration Testing
  • Execute and expand on various build verification test suites.
